On Monday 19th May, SITU was represented at the 'Explore Research' Public Open Day for the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital. SITU had a stand and there was a great deal of interest from both the public and researchers.

what is the brc?

Oxford Biomedical Research Centre is a collaboration between Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and Oxford University to support patient-centred research and innovation.Combining the clinical expertise of Oxford University Hospitals with the academic excellence of Oxford University, it is pioneering new treatments and technologies that are saving lives, both in Oxford and across the NHS.

What was there

There were several teams demonstrating the latest technology and techniques tackling conditions such as cancer, dementia, arthritis and diabetes. SITU was there to raise its profile as a relatively new organisation, and was met with a great deal of enthusiasm by all who came along.
