The UK TAVI Trial is a multi-centre randomised controlled trial to assess the clinical effectiveness and cost-utility of TAVI, compared with conventional surgical aortic valve replacement.

The United Kingdom Transcatheter  Aortic Valve Implantation (UK TAVI) Trial is a multi-centre randomised controlled trial to assess the clinical effectiveness and cost-utility of TAVI, compared with conventional surgical aortic valve replacement, in patients with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis, who are at intermediate or high operative risk. 

The trial, is funded by an NIHR HTA Programme grant and is sponsored by the University of Leicester.  The trial database has been created and is maintained by the University of Aberdeen.
