I am a registered comprehensive nurse, originally from New Zealand, graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 1999, from the Waiariki Institute of Technology. I have a wealth of experience in both trauma and elective theatres. I have worked in research at the University of Oxford since 2006 and am the current portfolio manager for the orthopaedic surgical research team. Both my research and clinical experience are consolidated in this role. I gained a Masters in Science (Evidence Based Healthcare) from the University of Oxford in 2014. I have also developed the internship (OxMInt) for nurses and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs). This programme provides nurses and AHPs with the opportunity to explore muscusloskeletal research and further their professional development.
