A combined training course between the Surgical Trials Units at both the University of Oxford and University of Bristol, designed for surgical trainees who are interested in learning more about undertaking research.

Bristol oxford surgical trials course

Registration for BOSTiC is now closed and places have been allocated

The University of Oxford’s Surgical Intervention Trials Unit is working in collaboration with the Surgical Trials Unit based in the University of Bristol to provide a three day surgical research training course for core and specialist trainees in the Oxford and Severn Deaneries.

The event will run from 29th April-1st May 2015, and is intended for those with very little or no research knowledge, but who are interested in becoming involved in surgical trials. Due to the nature of the course it will be necessary to attend all three days. Places are limited to 15 from each Deanery.

Both the Oxford and Severn Deaneries are kindly supporting this venture, along with support from the Royal College of Surgeons, which means that we are able to provide this event free of charge.
